Alloy Splined Upgrade Lightweight Clutch Drum & Sprocket Assembly
56 Tooth Hard anodised alloy, splined type.
Reduces wear and drag problems which is common on the Redditch Royal Enfield and Indian Enfield Bullets. Great for general road use to reduce wear etc, but also gives huge weight savings for race use.
Using a English made, CNC machined alloy clutch basket it offers superior performance over the standard steel Indian item. The 56 precision serrations, as opposed to the standard 10 slots, mean the friction plates lift cleaner and drive more true. In addition the combination of the clutch sprocket and 4 friction plates are nearly 50% lighter than the standard Indian items!
Other advantages include a plain centre bearing in the clutch basket rather than a ball race, easier installation by omitting the original circlip and the 2 steel dished plates in favour of fitting 4 of the same flat steel plate which removes uncertainties concerning the correct sequence and orientation of the plates.

To run this unit you will also need the splined alloy clutch plates A10847A x4 Other than that, this basket is a straight swap for your standard basket, all original parts fit (the original pressure plate may need a fraction turning off the od)
