Description

This limited edition hardback, (first 500 copy) is signed and numbered by Peter Mcmanus. This book is the sequel to One Man's Motorcycles 1939-1949.

Peter McManus is a life long motorcycle enthusiast who started riding in 1939, aged 16, on a 1930 175cc Triumph 2 stroke... and still has one! He is not a born again motorcyclist as he never died in the first place! Having served his engineering apprenticeship in Derby, he then joined Rolls-Royce technical staff immediately after the war. Peter and his old friend, Harry 'T' Tunaley both left Rolls-Royce to start in the motorcycle industry in Derby, and then Peter continued in business with his wife Edna. His previous books include the One Man's Trilogy: One Man's Motorcycles 1939-1949, One Man's Scotland, and One Man's Gun Quest, followed by Richthofen Jadgstaffel Ahead. Peter and Edna live in South Derbyshire, accompanied by their own herd of red deer and, of course, motorcycles.
