Extended Seat Bolts, Polished Aluminium Finish

45mm without thread

Allow you to remove your seat without the need for any tools, or fumbling around under the seat. Simply grip onto the knurling with your fingers and unscrew.

Our bolts also include an allen head to tighten them up further if needed.

Suitable for Triumph New Bonneville Models with Dual Seat. 2001-2015 air cooled

    Good quality and finished to a high standard. Just a little bit too wide at the knurled end such that they touched the seat rear making it hard to finger tighten. However they are very easy to fit using an allen key in comparison to the OEM bolts. I am pleased I bought them.

    These extended seat-bolts are a really worthwhile investment. They make removing the seat (to gain battery access etc) much easier than the standard non-extended Triumph bolts. I haven't given the extended bolts 5*s because (as seen in other reviews) the knurled outer end of the bolts exactly lines up with the lower edge of the saddle lip when they are screwed home. The diameter of the knurled section is fat enough to push against the seat material and over time will probably wear through it. An improved design best option would be to have a narrower diameter outer end. They wouldn't look such a work of art, but function would triumph (groan !) over form. The knurling is quite pronounced. To minimise the problem I have filed the tops off the knurling crowns, and finished off with emery paper (only took a few minutes as the outer part of the bolt is aluminium). I'd still buy them again though, if the need arose.
