Many thanks to British Byke Bits for the prompt service. The spare parts are exactly what I expected and they arrived safe and very quickly. They are not yet mounted on my BSA A65T 1970 because I am restoring it, and I am in the process of disassembling and purchasing the parts I need.

The gaiters are fine and fitted but first I was sent mudguard brackets by mistake. I sent the brackets back at my own expense but to get the postage refunded had to phone up and ask for it but no mention of any extra to compensate for my time going to the P.O. etc. Bit disappointed really.

Although the replacement Gaitors were over 1 inch shorter than the originals, they fit OK.
I still think the shorter length will put an undue strain on the product and it will split prematurely. Time will tell
