Love the extra height. More comfortable, surface prevents sliding, no pressure on inside of thigh also. Fast shipment to US, 4 days. Choose to buy from BBB because of all the email communication, answering all my questions.

Well done. The seat completes the package.

Really good quality and lined up well. The seat didn't come iwth the middle brackets but these were dispatched immediately I raised them missing. You have to push the back of the seat down to line up the holes for the locking screws, which led me to think it was fouling on components under the seat. I don't think this is the case but not as easy as fitting the original. Worth the price and I don't think the fitting glitch is too important.

Well no question it is beautiful and has a definite late 60s vibe, which is exactly what I wanted. Delivery time was excellent as well, ordered on Saturday 28th August and it arrived today (Wednesday 1st September), so considering I’m in Sydney Australia I’m very impressed.

Fitting the seat was another story however, what a nightmare. Firstly the hook mounting threads have been misaligned on one side so the hook will not fit without seriously enlarging the holes. Secondly once installed, the hooks are spaced much too far apart to clear the frame. Lucky I took this slowly and taped my frame first otherwise it would have no doubt been damaged when the hooks scraped against it. Yes I do have the hooks mounted the right way around on on the correct sides before anyone makes comment! I’ve had to significantly splay the hooks in order to clear the frame. Lastly the tongue is slightly too big to engage the grove in the tank without damaging the paint. Unfortunately I wasn’t so forward thinking with this part and should have started with a slower test fit. Result = chipped tank. My fault in this instance however I am genuinely surprised to strike such issues with fitting this seat given the many positive reviews. British Bike Bits I’m happy to supply photos and welcome any feedback on this. But the seat definitely looks great! Regards

It looks much better than the original and is way more comfortable,a quality product. Ordered 2 of the extender bolts to keep it on the bike but the thread shank of one of them stayed in the seat bracket, coming away from the bolt end first time i unscrewed it, to remove the seat. Contacted Burton who immediately sent me 2 new ones, this time with a slot for an Allen key to enable tightening. These are a slight improvement on the originals but it is still a fiddly operation just to remove the seat and why Triumph have made it so difficult is a strange one. One final point,i would put a bit of thick tape on to the end of the seat where you tighten these bolts as otherwise you may damage the seat over time.
