However, there was a 8 x 18 cm tear in the box. Whether it was for someone to peek in for some reason or other. Packaging was a recycled TV cardboard box. No damage to the fender fortunately. I would offer more protection for a fender as shippers are not kind to packages. As for to see the part fitted, that would not happen for about 2 years. This incident would not deter me from purchasing again.
